Applications for the next Impact Fellowship are now open!
The 8th annual Impact Fellowship will be held this winter in San Francisco!
Hiii!
We're thrilled to announce that applications for the upcoming Impact Fellowship are now officially open! 🎉
The Impact Fellowship is an immersive, week-long residential program designed for young engineers eager to use their technical skills for meaningful, long-lasting change. Fellows will engage with a diverse group of social entrepreneurs, activists, artists, philanthropists, researchers, and engineers, all working to make a positive impact. The program also offers hands-on technical workshops, helping fellows sharpen their software skills while collaborating on a high-impact project of their own creation. Most importantly, fellows join a vibrant network of like-minded peers who are committed to leveraging their talents for the betterment of society and the planet. Think of it as part speaker series, part bootcamp, part hackathon, and part community retreat.
This year marks our 8th annual Impact Fellowship and the second one to take place in San Francisco! Hosted at a stunning home near Alamo Square, fellows will be immersed in the heart of the tech world. The fellowship is tailored for STEM students currently enrolled in university (undergraduate or graduate) or recent graduates, with a focus on software engineers and data scientists. While a background in computer programming is recommended (but not required), we've had fellows from diverse fields like electrical engineering, physics, and biology. The fellowship is completely free to attend and welcomes applicants from all backgrounds and nationalities.
Find out more and apply at www.impactlabs.io/fellowship. The fellowship runs from December 29th, 2024, to January 5th, 2025, and applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Apply by October 10th for priority consideration.
We can’t wait to welcome you!
- The Impact Labs Team
P.S. If you’re no longer eligible for the fellowship because you’re not in school (or a recent grad), but you know someone who would be a great fit for the program, forward them this email or tell them to apply!
